ALPI@SICAM 2026
Pordenone, Italy
From 20 to 23 October, ALPI will be hosting its yearly exhibit of new collections at Sicam, an international trade show for manufacturers of components, semifinished products and accessories for the furniture industry. The booth designed by Piero Lissoni will present the expressive results of the company's latest research into wood surfaces and their decorative potential.
Side by side, new projects by Piero Lissoni and the studio Yabu Pushelberg interpret veneer according to different design sensibilities. ALPI Aurora and ALPI Birch are Yabu Pushelberg's exploration of hues and perception for surfaces where color, grain and variations of intensity build distinct identities. Piero Lissoni's rereading of natural wood types has led to ALPI Xilo Acacia, where a special heat process emphasizes structural texture and tonal depth, and ALPI Microline, which comes in seven chromatic hues traversed by thin lines that are only evident from up close.
The entire ALPIlignum Collection is available with IMO-MED certification, the European Union directive for the safety of maritime products. In addition, the Collection is FSC® 100% certified (license number FSC-C004666), based on direct control over the entire supply chain. Regarding fire safety, the Collection's flame-resistance is classified as BS1d0, meaning the veneers offer an elevated level of protection while responding to a very wide range of aesthetic requirements.
For this year's Sicam trade show, the ALPIready collection has been broadened. ALPIready is a line of prefinished wood surfaces ready to be affixed for immediate use, shortening the time and effort spent on varnishing. The collection now includes recent proposals and a wider range of existing veneers including ALPI Xilo Acacia Planked, ALPI Agreste Ouro, ALPI California Burl and ALPI Xilo Ice in the versions Striped, Flamed and Frisé.
